Xiaomi launched MIUI 12 globally. These are the highlight features in it.

Xiaomi launched its new mobile software MIUI 12 globally on 19th May 2020. Along with the Xiaomi users, tech geeks also eagerly waiting for this software. We know that Xiaomi is one of the top mobile brands all over the world. In MIUI mobiles the software evaluation began from MIUI 7, and now we are in MIUI 12. There is a lot happened in between. Not only for the company development, but for the change in its users’. In this generation, users want advanced features. To satisfy them…

MIUI 12 has come with a pack of best features. And this time they focus mainly on privacy protection for users. In my personal feel, MIUI 12 has brought outstanding features that suit our present lifestyle. Here are some highlights I would like to share with you.

MIUI 12 FEATURES:

Animations-

Some animations really give us an outstanding feel while we are using our mobiles. With this update of MIUI 12, they restructured animation, rendering innovative physics engine. They call it Mi-Light Cone Animation Framework. This brings a G2 Continuity curve to feel the complete display of animation. Apps in MIUI 12 can do dynamical render, so this gives a smooth performance.

Weather report-

I’m sure it is one of the cool features you love. The weather report has a natural background depends upon the live weather. Suppose if the weather temperature is 40 degrees, it has a background of the shining sun or if the temperature is 20 degrees cloudy, then it has loud thundering background. The live weather report looks live.

Multitasking-

MIUI 12 brings multi-tasking. It can run multi actions in a single window. While we are using Instagram, we can able to send instant messages. And in a battleground, we can able to chat with our friends. Such a cool feature. But it is already present in MIUI 11.

Now in MIUI 12, we will get the additional feature of multitasking that is floating notification. We can drag an application to the corner of the screen to minimize it, and at the same time, we can use other applications. So we don’t need to wait for game loading, instead we can do other work.

Private casting-

MIUI 11 brings cast features. But there are some privacy problems in that. In MIUI 12 they bring private casting. So that our private information like phone calls, messages, what’s app notifications, etc, can’t reveal while we cast a device. We minimize the window to d other works while casting.

Ultra power-saving mode-

Xiaomi devices have good battery capacity. Not all but most of the devices have at least 3,500 mAh battery. Now MIUI 12 brings good power-saving mode. When the device reaches a 5% battery, it can automatically turn on power-saving mode and with that, the background running apps can be highly restricted and the compulsory using apps like Phone, Messages, Music, etc, are highly optimized. We can add or remove some apps in this mode. And this ultra power saving mode comes in a black theme to save power.

Privacy protection-

This time Xiaomi shows much care about their user’s privacy. Xiaomi never compromises on privacy features, it brings auto-start, app permission, hidden folders, etc, to enhance user protection. Now in this background running apps, microphone, location, contacts, etc, can be fully controlled with the new feature permission notification.

We can able to give permission to the applications for a particular time. Sounds good, isn’t it? While sharing our photos with someone we can control metadata and our location in MIUI 12. Recently it gets certified by TUV Rheinland.

Beta Testing-

The software provides Beta testing for users’ on their official site. We simply call this as user testing, why because the beta users can able to test the software before it can roll out the complete world and give proper feedback. But you need to face some bugs while using this software because you are a Beta tester. The MI community must consider the beta users’ feedback and give the best output of MIUI 12 with minor bugs. It is one of the best ways to interact with consumers. If you want to be a Beta tester apply here.
